STEVE ROTHER Clinic He is a superb trainer in the evolved style that is reshaping the horse riding world. This four-day clinic at Twincreeks starts with ground work in the morning and riding in the afternoon. Colt starting clinic will also be available. Note the public demonstration to take place at the Duncan Fairgrounds on the Friday, July 11 at 7 p.m. (Cost of $10 per person - buy one and get another for free! Age 14 and under is also free!) Bring your family and interested friends, and enjoy what modern horsemanship is all about! Steve is sure to excite, entertain, and amaze! SAVVY KIDS CAMP Every year, these camps are a huge successes. What more could a horse-loving kid want? The price is $325, and that includes meals. We will announce more details about these annual fun-times as we get closer to these dates. (NOTE: two camps - see below - take your pick!)
These are similar to last year's events, with camping overnight, all meals and snacks included. Daily instructions of natural horsemanship Twincreeks style.
The focus is on safety and ground work. The riding includes a focus on bareback to develop an independent seat.
Most of our time is spent out with the horses, but on the hot afternoons we’ve been known to go to the river to cool off. We spend time watching herd dynamics and learning the psychology of the horse. We often have special speakers join us, with one project to take home ...but the specifics have yet to unfold. e-mail: twincreeks@shaw.ca

CHHAPS Island Show The Cdn Horse Heritage and Preservation Society will be having a halter and general performance show open to all breeds at Beban Park . Fun events will take place on Saturday eve Aug 2. Twincreeks Echo Valley Wine Ride C'mon Echo Valley vineyards is a wine growing estate, nestled in the evergreen forest of the Cowichan Valley on the foot of the Koksilah Ridge mountains. Each year, we have a great turnout. We ride slowly around the estate looking down the slopes onto the acres of vines, with a special vista halfway around - a great photo opportunity. Then we ride on through a forested area to the wine shop where we'll have a great little wine tasting party, with plenty of canapés. $40 per person e-mail: twincreeks@shaw.ca
