Annual Moss Street Paint-In - Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s Food & Beverage Garden: noon- 9 pm Dancing to Kumbia: 4 pm to 9 pm The (a not-for-profit event) features invited professional and emerging artists from Victoria and Region who demonstrate their art to 30,000 visitors walking Moss Street from Fort to Dallas Road. The Paint-In offers visitors an opportunity to meet and discuss the artists' work and methods and to see an enormous variety of professional work at one time.

ACCENTUATE A new Victoria art collective known as MMBB will showcase a utopian version of the Slide Room Gallery as an ultimate modern cultural landmark within the larger urban context of the city of Victoria. They use the concept of the condominium showroom as a model for their ‘display’. HtO Thetis Lake Swim for MS
Join us on SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2008 for the 16th annual HtO Thetis Lake Swim for MS. Swimmers of all ages and abilities compete for fun and prizes. There is an 800m, 1.5km, 3km, and 5km. Everyone is welcome! This event is a fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, and by collecting pledges you will make a difference in the fight against MS.
